"The Dove World Outreach Center"

"The Dove World Outreach Center says it wants to warn of Islam's "hateful" ideology...The Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida, plans to mark the anniversary of al Qaeda's September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington by burning copies of the Muslim holy book. The church insists the event is "neither an act of love nor of hate," but a warning against what it calls the threats posed by Islam."

With a peaceful name like "The Dove World Outreach Center" it seems like they are built on inclusion, love, and understanding, however this is a complete farce. This organization need to change their name immediately into something much more fanatic and extremist, something like the Christian Taliban. The center wants to warn people of Islam's hateful ideology?!?! Burning the holy book of Muslims, a diverse group of people with millions and millions of followers in the US and worldwide for the action of a few on 9/11 seems like hateful ideology to me. Disrespecting the faith and holy book of innocent Muslims who have nothing to do with 9/11 is hateful.

Good thing for us the church has insisted that the event is neither an act of love nor of hate but a warning. Why yes of course, this makes total sense, burning holy books is just a casual activity; what people like to do in their free time. Going through the effort of organizing this major event and recruiting others to join in is not about love or hate?! BURNING is not a hateful action anymore?!

Burning the holy bible or the flag are considered by many as acts of terrorism and fanatism which display exponential hatred. But burning the holy Koran is not about hate or terrorism?!
